We spoke to veteran TV news journalist Frank Alli about how to incorporate video in an online news story.
He gave us a few pointers:
1. "Understand what your story is." Get to know the subject so you can map out potential shots.
2. "Sound bites first." Get your talking heads on camera.
3. "3, 4 minutes -- four minutes is kind of long."
